Oliver is a Spartan who is friends with Logan and Kenzie and helps with Gwen's weapons training. He is first introduced in Kiss of Frost, alongside his friend Kenzie Tanaka. It is mentioned that Oliver and Alexei met during winter break, but only shows it in Crimson Frost.
Kiss Of Frost
One morning when Gwen is doing weapon training, she accidentally drops Oliver's bag. She inadvertently uses her touch magic on his notebook and realizes he has a crush on someone, but doesn't know who. He thinks Gwen knows who he has a crush on,(Kenzie), so to distract her, he puts her in near death experiences such and almost running her over in an SUV, and shooting an arrow at her. Gwen finds out he did it she and asks him why, and he tells her it wasn't to kill her and just to distract her, making sure he didn't hit her either times in both incidents. This creates his and Gwen's friendship.
